Annually, in the Spring, SWE@LSU hosts WISE: Women Impacting Success in Engineering (formerly Women Impacting Style in Engineering). WISE is our biggest event of the year and includes a seated dinner, keynote speaker and networking reception all culminated with a style show. For three years I attended this event, for two of which I was a committee member or chair. In my third year, as Vice President, I had the pleasure of serving as the WISE Event Planner and Coordinator. After months of planning, WISE took place on March 12, 2019 in the LSU Student Union where over 200 LSU students, faculty and staff and industry professionals representing nearly 11 different engineering/technology companies were in attendance.
